About Mayhem RFC
The Minneapolis Mayhem Rugby Football club is one of the nation’s few male rugby clubs that makes the sport accessible to traditionally underrepresented groups, including gay men. Our goal is to foster local, regional, national and international participation and competition in the game of Rugby Union Football, and to create an environment where members of the community can learn the laws and practice of Rugby, thus improving their capabilities as players.

Bingham Cup 2010
Mayhem RFC will host Bingham Cup 2010 in Minneapolis. The Mark Bingham Memorial Tournament, or Bingham Cup, is a biannual international, gay rugby union tournament. The tournament date is slated for 17-20 June 2010.
Nearly 1,200 gay rugby players from around the world will travel to Minneapolis to compete against each other for the tournament’s top honor—the Bingham Cup.
The Bingham Cup, commonly referred to as the Gay Rugby World Championship, is named for Mark Bingham, one of the heroes of Flight 93 on 11 September 2001. The tournament was dedicated in his honor by the San Francisco Fog RFC.
